Perhaps a bit less smog, but this scene probably hasn't changed much since Titus Salt's time, when Saltaire Mill was busy and the canal was filled with narrow boats moving cargoes around.
Scenes from an impromptu summer evening's walk along the Leeds - Liverpool canal in Shipley, West Yorkshire in the UK. It was late and the light was going on an overcast day. High ISO and an IS lens made these shots possible.
