On the edge of the world the cliffs seem to go on forever, with only the sea and sky.
This was taken near the lighthouse on Caldey Island. The cliffs of the island seem to merge with the distant mainland and go on forever.
One of Britain's Holy Islands, Caldey is owned and run by Cistercian (Trappist) monks who have an abbey on the island. Situated about 1 km from the mainland near Tenby, the island economy is based on farming and the many tourists who visit in the summer, with boats crossing every 20 minutes during the day, weather permitting.
Caldey is a tremendously peaceful place to visit and walk around.
